After a very informative and fun walk at Gosforth Nature Reserve, Nadia will join us for an online session.


This online session is a quick journey through the history of land in this country, so we can better understand injustice, disconnection, and how to reclaim our rights.

The talk will be around 45 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of questions and discussion.

Nadia Shaikh

Nadia Shaikh is a naturalist and ornithologist, she is a director of the Right to Roam campaign which seeks to open up the countryside so more people can access nature. She has worked in nature conservation for 14 years and is passionate about helping people rebuild their relationship with the natural world. 

Originally from the North East, she now lives in Scotland where she enjoys roaming free, rock pooling and kayaking.
