Being Me in the Music Industry

A collaboration between Sister Shack and Northern Roots, funded by Tour De Moon.

This session gives a  group of women and non-binary people a chance to explore what it feels like to be in the music industry as someone from the Global Majority. The challenges, the joy and a bit of pushing back on to the industry.

Being a woman/non-binary person of colour in the music industry can be lonely on occasion, and it can also be incredibly connecting for those of us here. This session is a broadcast chat with people from the North East Music Scene talking about their experiences and sharing their thoughts and feelings.

Hosted by Chantal Herbert from Sister Shack, with Azula Bandit, Jacklyn, Sisi, Maxine and Kay Greyson..
