Bend&Shake is a multi-genre queer party run by women and non-binary people of the Global Majority. EVERYONE is welcome, but this event aims to provide a safer space for women, non-binary people, trans people, asylum seekers and QIPOC.Join us for our first NYE party, with a glass of bubbly provided at midnight (non-alcoholic will be available).
With the absence of what we feel is an inclusive pride party in the North East (authentically organised and hosted by marginalised communities with intersectionality), we're continuing to host Bend&Shake parties. We hope it still offers you an alternative to the Newcastle scene, which we feel misses out on representing marginalised communities. As usual, we will provide music that doesn't just stick to the idea of what "queer culture" is. Music will range from R&B, House, Disco, Pop, Drum & Bass, Neo Soul, House, and more. As always, any bad behaviour and you will be asked to leave immediately.

Tickets are £16 in advance and £20 on the door. We also have some advance concession tickets available for £14. The venue is wheelchair accessible with gender-neutral facilities. And as always, any bad behaviour and you will be asked to leave immediately.
